ALTARED is a pop up exhibition in an abandoned shop in the South Lanes of Brighton. In transforming the building from a disused space into a gallery the Brighton students have attempted to create a place of contemplation and serenity in the busy area of the city.
The exhibition features paintings and prints of Jake Garfield, Ed Liddle, Heath Lowndes, Andrew Pranger, Joe Roberts and Kate Thackara.

The Heretics' Gate from Daydreaming with... on Vimeo.
James Lavelle returned on April 27, 2011 with another “Daydreaming with…” exhibition in London, this time being held at St. Michael’s Church in Camden. “Daydreaming with…” looks to showcase new feature film works by Doug Foster and Jonathan Glazer, with music from UNKLE and Simon Fisher Turner. Highlights included The Heretics’ Gate, which takes its inspiration from Dante’s Inferno, and Red Clay, which was previously shown in the Haunch of Venison exhibition but has been reconfigured in response to the architecture at St. Michael’s Church.See more here.
