Marcus Tremonto latest creations for Moss gallery New York. Marcus presents for the “Make me” exhibition four limited edition lighting sculptures (Flor, Pipe Spill, Spill II and Steam), inspired by his original Spill series, created in 2008 and first exhibited in Zurich. Marcus’s fixation with comics and pop culture in general is well known, as well as his love to combine it with strong forms and manipulated 2D and 3D images.




The pieces use electroluminescent paper, an organic material that emits light when introduced to an electric current. This method results in the light giving off no heat only a warm glow, distinct from standard incandescent lights.
